DJI Resumes Production for Phantom 4 Pro V2, Anti-Drone Technology, Drone Airport Incident in the UK, Hacked Dronesense Database
Drone U and DroneDJ team up yet again to bring you the latest and most exciting drone news from last week.
Our first story is about the DJI Phantom Pro V2. As per the latest rumors and industry reports, DJI is all set to resume the production of this much-loved drone in January 2020. This is certainly great news for professional pilots who are looking for a versatile solution that is suitable for aerial photography, videography, and mapping.
In our recent article, “Who Will Build the Next Honda Civic of Drones?“, Paul had explained why the DJI Phantom remains his favorite drone to date. While the Mavic 2 Pro may be great for aerial photography, the absence of a global shutter means that you cannot build a profitable drone mapping business using this drone. Check out our article for more detailed insights on this topic.
In our next story, we share some interesting CES 2020 updates. Like every year, all consumer technology majors shall be participating in CES 2020 which will be held from January 7-10 in Las Vegas. As far as the drone industry is concerned, industry majors, DJI and FLIR have already confirmed participation. But, what about the likes of Autel, Skydio, and Yuneec? And, can we expect any major product launches at CES 2020?
Other topics discussed in today’s show include anti-drone technology, hacked Dronesense database, and another alleged drone airport incident. For all this and much more, tune in to our latest show now. Fly Safe!
