Kevin has been a DroneU Elite Pilot since the beginning in 2018. Kevin was invited to judge the DroneU Videography event at both the first Drone U Fly-In(2016) and the second in 2018. He has had the great experience of instructing many types of pilots from beginner pilots, construction pilots, fire department personnel and swat teams to mention a few. Kevin is the owner and operator of Sky King Images which was established in 2015. He began work involving flying residential real estate, which progressed to commercial real estate photography and videography. In 2019, he signed his first large contract for construction progression footage of TopGolf Albuquerque, with the contract lasting one year. In 2020, he signed his second construction progression contract, with a contractor building an Amazon Distribution facility. The contract was for multiple weekly flights for two years. In the fall of 2020, he signed another one year construction progression contract for the same contractor building a second Amazon Distribution facility. In 2021, he signed his third one year contract with the same contractor building a third amazon facility. All of these contracts provided him the opportunity to fly many missions; mapping, still photos, videos along with interior photos and videos. Kevin has over 800 flight hours in the last three years alone. In addition, he had contracts to map multiple cell towers in the greater Albuquerque, NM area. In 2015 when he first heard about the flying camera industry he was all in. Flying his first drone, a $45.00 Syma X5 for several months he safely learned the basics of quadcopter flight. He then went on to purchase an Inspire 1 Pro V2 and shortly after a Phantom 4. That was followed by a Matrice 600 Pro, more Phantom 4s, an Inspire 2 with the Zenmuse X7, and the cinema lens kit. Oh, and then there is the DJI Spark (Atti hacked), Mavic 2 Pro (Atti Hacked), Autel EVO 2 Pro, more Phanton 4 Pros, Matrice 210, Matrice 210 RTK with XT and XT2 cameras, and lastly the Mavic 3. This year, 2022 will bring his business a Matrice 300 with H20T to grow his industrial services potential and up the quality of Aerial Camera Services solar asset inspection accounts. He has trained with PrecisionHawk and Talon for cell tower inspections. Received certification for sUAS Thermography Level 1 and Certified Thermography Level 2. Osha 10 and First Aid Certified. He is currently training for OSHA 40. He has many hours on flight apps such as DJI GS Pro, GO 4, GO, and Pilot. He also has extensive time on Litchi, Measure Ground Control, Map Pilot Pro, Litchi, DroneDeploy, and UgCS. Glenn is twice Drone U trained in mapping and processing with Pix 4D. He also uses Reality Capture, and Civil 3D in processing 3D models and map data for clients. Dave and Jon Schwalm, Owners of Northeast Dronez since 2012, are a Father/Son Team from Central New York with over a decade of drone experience. Dave's Construction Executive background grew the need for a better way to photograph large construction projects, which naturally pushed them into Drones. Jon built one of the first custom drones available at the time, based on a FlameWheel F550 frame. They have hundreds of hours of experience, including 3D- Modeling, Cell tower, Solar farm, & Wind Turbine inspections, as well as major asset inspections. Dave and Jon participated in one of the first blanket Flight over people FAA waivers for drone deliveries, which involved using a ballistics parachute system. They have flown everything from a Mavic Mini to an M600. The Father/Son team love pilot training and mentoring new and experienced pilots to help gain the knowledge and confidence to fly missions successfully and safely.
