In our first big drone news story, we have some exciting news for you. DJI has resumed production of their flagship drone, the Phantom 4 Pro. We have repeatedly discussed why the Phantom 4 Pro is unmatched when it comes to reliability and versatility. But, will DJI again discontinue production in 2020 when ADSB receivers on all drones become mandatory? Will we see a slew of DJI drone launches in 2020 when this new requirement kicks in?

Our next big drones news story is about the DJI Ronin-SC. DJI has launched a mini version of their popular camera gimbal, the Ronin-S. This new camera gimbal comes with some pretty impressive features like Active Trak 3.0 and Force Mobile. Weighing just 2.4 lbs, this compact camera gimbal allows you to follow a subject, pretty much like a drone. While this new camera gimbal is lighter and cheaper (costs $439) than its predecessor, will this compact build limit payload?

Our next story is about New York City drone laws. An archaic 71-year old law prohibits takeoff and landing of drones in New York City. Now, two New York City Council members have proposed new drone laws that legalize drone use.
